Welcome to our home on the web. We are Mark & Karen Byrnes of Fort Langley B.C.We bought our first rottweiler in 1994, a show prospect who unfortunately never liked showing but loved obedience - we were hooked. We discovered what the rottweiler breed is truly all about. Rottweilers are loveable and smart with personality plus.

We now have six spoiled rotties that make up our whole family. Because of them we bought a house on 5 acres with a lake. They think they can talk us into anything & sometimes do. In the summer every day they ask us to go swimming by running back and forth to the gate. Their communication skills are excellent and this wonderful excercise keeps them in great shape.

Our dogs are wonderful family pets, loyal and protective. They all live in the house, sleep on the couch and eat the raw diet known as "BARF" which is real meat, vegatables and bones. Our two finicky eaters get a holistic dog food from a reputable company, to which raw meat & vitamins are added.

We actively show in CKC conformation (Canadian Kennel Club) and german style sieger shows. We are part of a club we started 4 years ago which holds an annual sieger show every fall called Westcoast Landesgruppe. It is a German style show held outdoors with entries of 50 - 100 rottweilers of all ages, shown under reputable judges from North America and Europe.

Some of our dogs are put through an obedience trial to earn thier CD (companion dog) title. We also take each dog to a herding trial where they have a blast using their instincts to see if they are a natural herder and can recieve a HIC certificate for proving they have the herding instinct under a reputable trainer/judge.

But - A rottweiler is not for everyone. Rottweilers require a lot of responsibility as they are confident, courageous & powerful. They require alot of training and attention and do not make good kennel dogs. They prefer to be in the house with you at all times. Before you bring a rottie home make sure you've done your research on this amazing breed and your confident a rottweiler is suitable for your lifestyle.

We are ethical breeders, averaging one litter per year, that strive to produce the very best all around rottweiler with correct type, temperament, confirmation and work ability for pet or show and breeding.

All puppies leave with a puppy package which includes history and health certificates (parents must be ofa'd or ovc'd for hips & elbows, eye's certified, heart cleared) all show titles, a contract/guarantee, pedigree and more. We also love to keep in touch with our buyers and offer full support after you take your puppy home.

We will show your puppy for you or help you learn how if your not upto it. The button "puppy pics" has pictures of some of our past litters. We will be adding more pics soon. The "litters" button shows you the litter that is most recent.
